About Client

A-optica is a chain of opticians in Ukraine offering a wide range of frames, sunglasses, contact lenses and accessories from leading global brands. The company focuses on providing a full range of optical services: from consultations with an ophthalmologist to the manufacture and repair of glasses.

The chain is expanding rapidly, opening new outlets in shopping centres across Ukraine, and is focusing on the convenience of online shopping alongside its physical presence.

Purpose Project

To carry out a complete redesign of the existing website for the A-optica chain of opticians — to rethink the brand’s visual identity, improve the user experience and bring the interface into line with modern e-commerce standards. The new design was intended to reflect the premium nature of the product range, be user-friendly on both desktop and mobile devices, and meet the expectations of the target audience — people who choose high-quality eyewear.

In parallel with the redesign, a bespoke API was developed to enable two-way integration between the website and the client’s internal database. This has allowed for the automation of product catalogue updates: new items, prices and stock levels are synchronised automatically without manual intervention. As a result, the client’s team saves time, and customers always see the up-to-date product range on the website.
