At Molfar, the idea to unite video game enthusiasts into a single community has taken shape. This gave birth to "Gaming Molfar"—an initiative that serves as a platform for communication, team competitions, and friendly leisure activities.
During the company’s weekly meeting on September 9, 2024, while discussing important topics like "We need more social interaction outside work" and "What hobbies does everyone have?", the team unanimously decided to organize an exciting event to help employees connect in a non-work setting.
The first major event for the community was a gathering to play the popular shooter Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) on September 21. Participants formed teams, chose strategies (or just learned how to shoot in the game), and dove into intense battles for victory.
The event unfolded in a relaxed atmosphere: there were jokes, team spirit, and, of course, epic headshots.
The organizers explained that the purpose of creating the community was not only to have fun but also to strengthen team bonds through shared interests.
"We wanted to create something more than just a workplace. Games help unlock the potential for teamwork and let us have a great time together," said one of the initiators of the gaming community.
Now, some employees have found common gaming interests and play together without formal organization.
But Gaming Molfar has big plans: regular meetups, an expanded list of games, and possibly even participation in inter-company tournaments!
Initiatives like this prove that work and leisure can perfectly complement each other, while shared hobbies help foster new friendships and inspire creativity.
