Our collaboration with the scientific and industrial journal "Ohorona praci" has been ongoing for over five years. During this time, we’ve made significant strides in its transformation, including helping the publication transition from a traditional print format to a modern online resource that has become a full-fledged information and training hub for occupational safety professionals.
This partnership is not just beneficial but inspiring, as we continually work together with our partner to develop innovative solutions that help the journal maintain its leadership in the Ukrainian market.
What’s New?
1. Updated User Dashboard
We significantly redesigned the sections and menus, added animations, and optimized the logic for displaying materials. The interface is now much more user-friendly.
2. Improved Search System
Depending on the user’s status and location, three types of search are now available:
- Site-wide search.
- Search within the user’s online dashboard.
- Search within specific sections of the dashboard.
For non-registered users, the search is limited to publicly accessible pages only.
3. Tags and Automatic News Page Added
This addition provides a convenient tool for faster information retrieval.
All these updates have greatly enhanced the user experience on the site.
Business Benefits Are Thriving Too!
After a thorough analysis of user activity and the journal’s revenue, we implemented a differentiated approach to access rights distribution:
New types of content access restrictions were introduced based on the selected service package, subscription duration, etc.
The Highlight: Distance Learning
The development of a distance learning system became a true "crown jewel" of the project :
- Functionality for creating an unlimited number of courses was introduced.
- Access to courses can now be restricted based on user permissions.
- Sequential learning mechanisms were implemented.
What’s Next?
We plan to further enhance the system by adding features for monitoring the learning process, testing, and providing feedback.
This project is a prime example of how innovation can transform an industry. And this is just the beginning!
