MODUS is a Ukrainian supplier of door hardware (locks, handles, hinges and accessories from leading European brands) and a manufacturer of concealed interior doors, with over 28 years of experience. The company develops its own NoFrame concealed-installation door system.

The business combines retail and wholesale and sells actively online, so it needed a modern online store with a large product catalogue and convenient assortment management

Purpose Project

To build a new MODUS online store from scratch on a custom platform (Laravel), fully replacing the outdated OpenCart site. The new site was to feature a modern design, a convenient catalogue with filters and search, product pages, a cart, checkout and a personal account, as well as a blog and promotions pages.

A key separate task was data migration: exporting the entire assortment from the old modus.ua OpenCart site and importing the products into the new system, so the catalogue and content were preserved during the transition
